About the Owner

Chelsea Paterson is a Certified Emotion Code® Practitioner, Usui Reiki Master and Intuitive Energy Healer.

Chelsea worked as an advocate for children dealing with trauma as a result of being placed into foster care due to abuse and neglect for almost two decades. As a court advocate, she received extensive training in trauma-informed care and practices.

How I Got Here

Seeing the struggle of children dealing with trauma led to a relentless desire to dig deeper to find a solution to better support them. Watching them grow into adults who aged out of the foster care system without reaching any sense of healing, I wanted to create a way to help them and others who have been suffering with carrying around past traumas. Medical practices and therapy can be wonderful, but it seemed that oftentimes something more was needed.

I've always been intuitive. I've always been an empath, which led me to become a Usui Reiki Master energy healer. Through the continuous study and practice of bridging the gap between science and spirituality, I discovered The Emotion Code® and Higher Light Wellness was born. Higher Light sessions were created out of a life-long journey of cultivating an understanding of how subtle energies can work to either contribute to our joy and success, or deplete us of our well-being.

Chelsea lives in Warwick, NY with her husband, daughter, 2 dogs and chinchilla.
